Max'd Out determines what kind of entry it is from language, not keywords — "grabbed," "picked up," and "paid for" read as an expense; "finished," "just wrapped," and "quote was" read as a job that needs invoicing. When it genuinely can't tell, it asks once before creating anything.
Attach a photo of the receipt and Max'd Out reads it directly — vendor, amount, date, and a line-item description are pulled off the image itself, not guessed from the text around it.
Vendor name, total amount, the date printed on the receipt, a short description, and payment method when it's shown — read directly off the image, not inferred.
If you don't say when a purchase happened, the date printed on the receipt is what gets logged — not the day you got around to texting it in.
If a receipt can't be read — blurry, cropped, faded — the message still gets processed from whatever text you sent. A failed photo read never blocks the entry.
Every photo is stored against its entry. Text "send me the Home Depot receipt from last week" and Max'd Out finds it — by vendor, date, or amount — and texts you a link. More than one match? It sends a short list and lets you pick.
