For bookkeeping practices

Manage more clients without adding more hours.

Each client gets their own number and their own guided setup — you're not the one walking them through onboarding. One portal shows every client's numbers, flagged the moment something needs you, without re-entering anything by hand.

See how it fits your practice

Bookkeeper Practice covers two different things at once: your own business, and the clients you manage.

Your own practice
  • Text or voice in your own practice's expenses and invoices — coded automatically, same capture any Solo account gets.
  • Your own AR is tracked: what you've invoiced, what's outstanding, what's overdue, what's been paid.
  • Weekly outlook and spending alerts for your own numbers, same as any other account.
Your clients' books
  • Each client gets their own dedicated number and a guided onboarding — they skip the QuickBooks setup question, since Max'd Out runs their capture directly.
  • Ask about any client by name — "What did the Fox account invoice last month?" — and get an answer in the same text thread, no portal login required.
  • Fix what you find, in place: recode a miscoded entry, correct client or vendor attribution, and clear flagged exceptions directly from the client's books — no exporting and re-importing to make a correction.
  • Every edit you make is logged with your name and timestamp, and your client can see exactly what changed on their own Activity page. Their books stay theirs.
  • Pull a clean export for any client whenever you need it — the same 5-file package every account gets.

What Bookkeeper actually gets you

What actually changes in a week of managing client books.

Managed client onboarding

Add a client, and Max'd Out runs their setup conversation directly — you're not the one walking them through it field by field.

Ask about any client by name

"What did the Fox account invoice last month?" — texted from the same thread you already use, no switching into a client's portal to look it up.

Per-client exports & reviews

Pull a clean, ready-to-file package for any single client whenever they need it — not just at your own period close.

One client roster, searchable

Every managed account in one table — name, plan, status, last export, open balance, and how many exceptions are waiting.

Your own AR, tracked the same way

Total invoiced, outstanding, overdue, and paid — for your own practice, not just the clients you manage.

Exceptions flagged across every client

Ask "show me all uncategorized entries across my clients this week" and get one answer covering all of them, not one lookup per client.

Checking on three clients in one thread

This is what asking about managed clients actually looks like — no switching between client portals.

Every figure comes with the client name attached — never ambiguous.

Before you sign up

The questions bookkeepers actually ask, answered plainly.

Do my clients need to do anything to get set up?

No — managed onboarding means Max'd Out runs their setup conversation directly. You add the client; they don't need to talk to you to get started.

Can I edit a client's entries directly?

Yes — recode a category, correct client or vendor attribution, and resolve flagged exceptions right from the client's books. Every change is recorded with your name and a timestamp, and the client can review exactly what you changed on their own Activity page. You can only ever touch books for clients assigned to your practice.

How much does adding a client cost?

$29/mo per client account on top of the $69/mo base, with no cap on how many clients you manage.

Does this replace what I already do for clients?

No — it's the capture and export layer. You still do the actual bookkeeping and review; Max'd Out removes the manual data entry and gives you a clean starting point for each client.

The problem was never that you can't take on more clients

It's that most tools make each new client cost you more hours, not fewer.
